And there’s Jon and Karl Hartman, the brothers who amassed the most complete Transformers toy collection and started the BotCon. And then there’s me, Dahveed, your guide to the Transformers fandom and a Transformers fan struggling to find his way. Some of you may know me already from my appearance on the SyFy show ‘Collection Intervention.’ or have seen clips of this project at BotCon, the #1 Transformers Convention. This project spans ten years in the making with footage going back to the birth of Transformers 30 years ago.
Along with in depth coverage of Transformers fans, the documentary takes a look at the origins of the Transformers franchise with writers Bob Budiansky, Flint Dille and Simon Furman. The project features exclusive interviews with legendary Transformers voice talent including Peter Cullen, Scott McNeil, director Wally Burr, designers Aaron Archer, Eric Siebenaler, rock ‘n roll legend Stan Bush, celebrity Transformers fans such as Seth Green and many more!
