Hasbro Toy Shop Sale - Free Generations FoC Optimus Prime with $30.00 Purchase

By HMRC4EVR on Thursday, December 06, 2012

Heya Everyone! Just got an email update from HTS. They have some new holiday offers and one of them is a free FoC wave 1 Prime with any Transformer purchase of $30.00 or more when you enter the code "TFGIFT" now thru 12/9 to get the gift. They have other deals on Furreal friends and a free toy with a Sesame Street 'Let's Rock' Elmo, but the free Prime is the only Transformers promo listed. Not my idea of a great freebie, but if you were going to order stuff from HTS anyway there are worse things than a free Optimus. Hope this helps someone out!

Plenty of Wave 1 FOC clinging around here. Meanwhile, very rare to see Bruticus components.

I think it's just Optimus that's not selling well, I can't find Jazz or Shockwave here anymore, but Optimus is still quite present, it's not really a big surprise though, anybody that collects the videogame tranformers can agree that WFC Optimus was a superior figure, and with Ultra ... read more

Wow, is FOC selling so bad that they're having to give away an OPTIMUS PRIME just to move product? That can't be good...

More Generations News
From the Youtube channel harrisloureiro who we've featured in the past comes another outstanding work of stop-motion toy animation. Transformers Generation features lots of Masterpieces and comparable third party figures in a 15 minute battle sequence that's unbelievably fluid and natural. Reportedly taking six months to complete production, this is worth every moment of your time to check out. Click through to see the embedded video - you'll be glad you did!
PaxCybertron has posted a review to Youtube featuring Leader Class Generations Thundercracker from the third wave of Combiner Wars. The video details the sculpt changes and differences with last year's Leader Jetfire in both modes, as well as comparing it to the Masterpiece edition of Thundercracker. The video is embedded below, so click through and check it out.
Autobase Aichi has posted images of the packaging for Grand Scourge, the Combiner Wars Optimus Prime recolor based on an Energon/Super Link recolor of the Grand Convoy model kit. So not only do you get a weird origin story and an interesting color scheme, but it comes with a big sword, too! Keep reading to see.
Mr. Chaos has returned, spreading information gleaned from retailer inventory computers. His update tonight brings us confirmation of a full Combaticon team, featuring the entire original roster of characters. But the surprise comes after that as the next Deluxe wave looks to be another Autobot Car assortment. And the news is rounded out with a set of three more Legends. Click through for all the details!
Hasbro Transformers Designer John Warden is back on the Transformers Official Youtube Channel today in a pair of new videos talking about the first two complete combiners in Combiner Wars, now that waves 1 and 2 are out in full force at US retail. While they're more sales pitch than design insight, they still have some interesting bits. And look close in the background for a cameo by G1 Computron that, like Devastator and Defensor before it, may well foretell another team on the way! Keep reading to see both embedded videos.
