Takara Tomy Transformers Lucky Draw Optimus Prime Sound Stage Quotes

By Jack on Wednesday, January 02, 2013

Thanks to Hydra over at the Allspark who has posted some details about the Takara Tomy Transformers lucky draw Optimus Prime sound stages that are limited to 50 pieces. He has been nice enough to share the translated quotes that the stage says in the Japanese Optimus Prime voice. Check out the quotes and image from the original Lucky Draw campaign below for more info.
These are translated from Japanese, and probably correspond to actual quotes
from the episodes, but I haven't verified which they come from.

The box lists it as having 14 lines plus one "rare" line, but it is really 14 lines total, not 15.

Optimus Prime, Transform!
Rachet! Behind you!
Optimus Prime, Arms Up!
Nice work on the mission, Bumblebee.
Super Combo Weapon, Star Saber!
We will fight... For the peace of mankind, Earth, and the entire galaxy!
Autobots, roll out!
Ratchet, open the Ground Bridge.
Megatronus... What was I doing here?!
Megatron! Your evil deeds end here!
Arcee, give me an update.
One shall stand, one shall fall.
Bulkhead! Trying to fight them alone was just reckless!
(Special Line) I’m O.P.! I’ve got a great idea!

That's all of them!

In what appears to be last minute deal, Tranformers and other Hasbro shows will be staying on with Netfilx. As we reported previously, Hasbro and Netflix were to go their own way last month when a new deal fell through. However, without disclosing the terms of the detail. USA Today reports Netflix let be known that Hasbro Studios shows aren't going anywhere. Good news for Netflix customers who need their Transformers fix.
Adweek has posted an article about Hasbro's TV strategies that goes into of detail about The Hub - and what went wrong. The short version is that Discovery was admirably hands-off with the network, leaving Hasbro almost solely in charge of programming... and a combination of slow profits, the proliferation of on-demand viewing, and the departure of President & CEO Margaret Loesch led Hasbro get out of the network-running business. Keep reading for more details on all that and a link to the full article where you can see My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic described as "creepily beloved"!
While we'd previously heard a cutoff date of January 1st for G1 and other Hasbro shows, The Wrap reports that Hasbro and Netflix have been unable to come to terms - a situation more or less confirmed by a Tweet from @HasbroNews. So if you really want to catch up on Transformers Prime, Pound Puppies, or My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, you'd best get to watching now. Keep reading for more details!
Variety reports that the Hub will, as previously rumored, become the Discovery Family Channel on October 13th. Discovery will be taking a majority share in the network, but Hasbro will retain a daytime block of programming for its shows such as Transformers Rescue Bots, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and presumably the upcoming Transformers Robots In Disguise. Keep reading for more details!
Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun reports that Polygon Pictures has walked away from the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards with four awards, two for Transformers Prime Beast Hunters. The other two were for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and between the two series Polygon has taken the Outstanding Special Class Animated Program award for the past three years running. We'll see if Robots In Disguise 2015 will help them maintain their lock on the category, but for now keep reading for an excerpt from the article and a link to full details!
