Reluttr - Thursday, October 04, 2012

So just in case you guys didn't know. The warbot bonus pack is now live on FansProjectCore for 249.97 + shipping. In this set you get: Warbot Defender "pretty sure its a FPC Exclusive reissue",
Warbot Steel Core "FPC Exclusive reissue," and Warbot Assaulter. The number available is really limited. So if you missed out on Steel Core and/or Defender and want Assulter then you better hurry.

One thing to watch out for... There is apparently a glitch on the FPC site that where after you complete your paypal payment you will be redirected to the page on FPC that originally took you to paypal and if you click "continue" on this page it will try to double bill you. If it does this and you already got a paypal reciept email, then just close the page and contact FPC's customer support via their website or through the payments email given on the paypal reciept. I know I and OptimalRodimus encountered this bug. However, I asked Peaugh about it via twitter and he claims he did NOT encounter this bug and the order is showing on his FPC account normally. So I am guessing the link to the "order complete" page is broke for some people.

I will update my post when FPC gets back to me, but at the moment my order IS NOT showing up on my FPC account, but the payment has went through on paypal.

If I do get this set, I would offer up Defender, because I already have him. FPC said there was going to be a second release of Steel Core, hopefully this is not the second release of Steel Core

They haven't, only Steel Core is purely their exclusive, Assaulter will be a general release. They reissued Defender like a month or two ago through bbts and tfsource, and I am guessing that the ones in this 3 pack are leftovers and that they are just passing on the savings of distribution to u... read more

I would go after it, but I already have Warbot Defender, all I want is Steel Core and Assaulter so I will wait for the individual pieces. I'm just wondering why FP has stopped dealing with BBTS, TF Source and the like

Badcube just announced a reissue of their first release: Brawny & Backland. There will be 2nd edition packaging, updated joints and slightly different color scheme. Plus the original bonus parts will be included in the package.
U.Nem Studios on Facebook has done a very nice gallery featuring Buzzard and Volture, the newest entries in the ReMix series of larger-scale cassette characters, under MMC's Ocular Max label. The unofficial Buzzsaw and Laserbeak are shown to be quite poseable, able to strike many bird postures, and with help of a stand, look quite natural in flight. You can also get a good look at them in their full-size audio cassette forms. Check out all the photos below, along with a link to view the original gallery on Facebook!
Via Instagram, Mastermind Creations has shared a pair of photos showing a full color, perhaps finalized sample of Aero Alpham their figure based on the IDW comics character Wing. Wing was a supporting character in the original Drift miniseries written by Shane McCarthy; he died to motivate Drift's character development. We don't know anything new about the release for this figure right now, but we do have a fresh robot and vehicle photo of it, which you can find in our gallery below.
We've got a few new images showing off Kingorilla, the not-Apeface coming up from KFC. This debuted at a hobby show in China not long ago, alongside a matching Snapdragon-analogue. The pictures give a fair look at each mode, but it's the couple of extra shots from KFC's Weibo page that tell the tale, as you can see the jet mode hoisted up on human hand and begin to feel a sense of scale for this figure not imparted by the isolated shots. We have all of that mirrored below, click through to have a look!
The first two figures for Unique Toys new Combiner figure Ragnaros have been announced: Archimonde and Gahz'ranka. Each figure stands about 7.50 inches tall in robot mode and transform into a tank and jeep. Each figure comes with hand held weapons that can be used in both robot and vehicle modes.
