By Reluttr on Thursday, October 04, 2012

So just in case you guys didn't know. The warbot bonus pack is now live on FansProjectCore for 249.97 + shipping. In this set you get: Warbot Defender "pretty sure its a FPC Exclusive reissue",
Warbot Steel Core "FPC Exclusive reissue," and Warbot Assaulter. The number available is really limited. So if you missed out on Steel Core and/or Defender and want Assulter then you better hurry.

One thing to watch out for... There is apparently a glitch on the FPC site that where after you complete your paypal payment you will be redirected to the page on FPC that originally took you to paypal and if you click "continue" on this page it will try to double bill you. If it does this and you already got a paypal reciept email, then just close the page and contact FPC's customer support via their website or through the payments email given on the paypal reciept. I know I and OptimalRodimus encountered this bug. However, I asked Peaugh about it via twitter and he claims he did NOT encounter this bug and the order is showing on his FPC account normally. So I am guessing the link to the "order complete" page is broke for some people.

I will update my post when FPC gets back to me, but at the moment my order IS NOT showing up on my FPC account, but the payment has went through on paypal.

Stay tuned to Tformers.com for more details as they are made available. Your best resource for all the Transformers news and community every day.

If I do get this set, I would offer up Defender, because I already have him. FPC said there was going to be a second release of Steel Core, hopefully this is not the second release of Steel Core

Yeah bro you'll like Defender. One of my favorite 3rd party guys. No better Springer will ever be made.

They haven't, only Steel Core is purely their exclusive, Assaulter will be a general release. They reissued Defender like a month or two ago through bbts and tfsource, and I am guessing that the ones in this 3 pack are leftovers and that they are just passing on the savings of distribution to u... read more

I would go after it, but I already have Warbot Defender, all I want is Steel Core and Assaulter so I will wait for the individual pieces. I'm just wondering why FP has stopped dealing with BBTS, TF Source and the like

Group ToyMecha has seemingly launched with photos of a prototype figure based on Punch/Counterpunch, targeting the Masterpiece scale. Seen in comparison with the official Tigertrack, the currently unnamed double-agent is similar in height range with MakeToys' Cupola/Not-Chromedome. We can only glimpse the figure's alternate robot mode so far, but otherwise we're given a decent look at the design. Click through to check out the photos!
Over on their Facebook page, BadCube has published a piece of concept art for "Sunsurge", their take in a Masterpiece-alike Sunstreaker, carrying on from their increasingly popular offerings like Wardog/Warpath and the Insecticon "Evil Bug Corps". They're strongly indicating there will be more of this to be seen at TFCon Toronto later this month, so fans who've been waiting for a Masterpiece option on this character ought to keep watch on this one! Click through to check it out.
Perfect Effect has announced that they're adding the Constructicons' guns to their PC-07 upgrade kit for Combiner Wars Devastator! In addition, they've announced that both their PC-06 Devastator upgrades and PC-07 Constructicon upgrades should be compatibile with either the Takara or Hasbro releases - though presumably that's the biggest concern for PC-06, as PC-07 largely brings the Hasbro version up to speed with Takara's Unite Warriors UW04 version. Keep reading for the announcement and a teaser photo!
TFW2005 has posted new images found on Weibo of FansProject's Function-X6 figure, Knight! This reuse of the MADLAW mold represents the Masterforce character Sixknight, the Japanese G1 equivalent of Quickswitch. It's looking pretty nice in Sixknight's cooler color scheme. Keep reading to see!
Robot Kingdom has just updated their Facebook page with copies of the Perfect Effect Devastator upgrade images, noting that preorders for them will begin next week. But more importantly it looks like they're also verifying the distribution of parts. According to their information, PC-06 will include the Devastator specific parts and vehicle upgrades, while PC-07 will feature just the Constructicon forearm addons. Pricing remains to be seen, but at least it looks like you'll have the chance to choose what extent of upgrades you want to apply.
