And for those who have asked, if you sign up for the club now you will get next year's free figure, not this year's free figure. And yes, next year's figure will be red and blue and will have translucent plastic.

$88 for TWO deluxe exclusives and a club membership is a hell of a deal I think.

Even better, if you use similar math on the Seacons then the $120 members price is like paying $40 for SnapTrap and $16 each for the remaining five. They could have easily charged $48 for Snaptrap ("deluxe price") and $20 for each remaining figure ("basic price") if they had wanted to ($148). They really cut us a deal with this price.

Without a credit card you have to send in a check or money order. The address is on the website. That's how I've had to order past figures. I send them a letter with what I want and how much shipping is (I calculate that off the website) and then where to ship it.

Its not $88, its $48 with a $40 MEMBERSHIP charge to be a member. Most places now a days cost5 more then $40 for membership.

I have a question, how do i go about ordering these without a credit card? Whats the phone number and what do i have to do? Im ready to order mine lol

This thread should have a subtitle: "Let the batching commence."

I ordered the Seacons and Nightbeat. I don't see why people continue to complain about the club's Seacons. A complete set of originals would cost a lot more than this one. The God Neptune version is the one that looks like a knock-off, not the club's set. I need only point to the knock-off Predacons to explain why I think so.

does tfcc have any say in the design of these or do they just get the castoff's that hasbro couldn't convince retailer's to carry?

It seems to be a comibination of both, in the case of the Seacons it appears to be the latter...

IIRC this color scheme first appeared back in "Universe" days, so it's pretty consistent with that aesthetic.

Of course, the original Universe aesthetic was "plastic ass," so there's that.

Although I really don't have a problem with this color scheme; they're pretty obnoxious toys to begin with.

I honestly asking here: Does anyone else think that the seacons offered by the club are little more than expensive, miscoloured knock-offs?

Honestly, the originals and the white beastwars 2 set were better than this!

i liked the unity of the beastwars version (white color pattern) but hates that it didn't include Natulator

i like the original despite the hot pink and electric blue, it was still a more unified color motif...

this version does look like a biglots knock-off version

does tfcc have any say in the design of these or do they just get the castoff's that hasbro couldn't convince retailer's to carry?
