Fun Publications has unveiled the fourth of five figures of their BotCon 2009 Wings of Honor exclusive box set as Elite Guard Flak.
His motto is ""Always be prepared. If you can be lucky, do that, too."
His character bio is as follows:
An experienced 'alien fighter' who forged his career in the Cybertronian Revolution, Flak is a fearsome opponent. Space pirates, mutants, transorganics... Flak has fought them all, first as a security officer, then as an explorer, and finally as a shock trooper under Thunderclash's command. Off the battlefield, combat doesn't interest him; it is his job, he does it when needed and he does it well.
The figure is a repaint of Transformers Cybertron Defense Scattorshot.

same thing really its like pre-ordering only you don't know what you have till you get it. But if history is anything to go by you can shift it quite fast if you don't like it

Or selling them off after they decided they don't like it. Which I might be doing... I need to see it in person first.

Thankfully, I have yet to get really bitter about the new convention sets so far...until now. By far the best of the bunch! I really like this mold, so for me this is the best looking incarnation as of yet. WHy couldn't we get this guy in Universe instead of Dropshot or Overload?

This is different to Japanese conventions, where it is basically a scalper-fest. However, as the prices for BOTCON are simil... read more

in their defence they dont have a big selection of toys to pick from Hasbro give them a list of what they can offer and the guys at botcon pick from that list and right now its all E/A/C + classics and no one would ever want Armada stuff

Shattard Glass IMO was the best set so far you could take it or leave it and for the most part they all looked rather cool
