First Look: SDCC 2009 Exclusive 25th Anniversary Soundwave

The Transformers Collector's Club website has posted a first look of the Comic-Con International: San Diego 2009 exclusive, 25th Anniversary Soundwave Special Edition figure.
What's so special, you ask?
The figure will include three of Soundwave's cassettes, Ravage, Buzzsaw, Laserbeak, and Ratbat. This is the original mold way back from 1984.

What are you talking about?... I was referring to the fact that most of us already have multiple Soundwaves and 3 of the four cassettes that we would rather spend the money on the new Encore set...

Excellent. I'm so glad that we're getting cassettebots in the Encore series. I hate the prices on vintage cassettebots. They are out of proportion with the size of the toy.

Anyway, is there anyone here that IS going to SDCC? If so, would you be willing to pick up any extras? Not just Soundwave, but The Baroness, Luke Skywalker, etc.?

nah hasbro should do soundblaster as a regular release & leave the "made-up" ones to sdcc, botcon, etc

Or black... other than the stupidly expensive TFC Soundblaster we haven't gotten a Soundblaster reissue, and he's a damn good looking recolor. Especially since we're getting an Animated Soundblaster... it'd be nice.

they should have done soundwave in silver (like in tf2rotf)
