Revenge of the Fallen Gets More Repaints Ransack, Beachcomber & Knock Off

By bwbm on Wednesday, October 28, 2009

Thanks to a couple of sources, we have learned that the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Scout class section at your local toy aisle will expand will a few more options.

The first repaint will be of Ransack, which will be repainted into a predominantly red figure with some white here and there.

Next, is a blue repaint of Dune Runner. The figure will be predominantly blue with some white hints here and there (we'll leave it up to you to decide what Hasbro will name that).

Last (and maybe not least) we will be treated to another repaint of Knock Out, which has already been repainted into Reverb earlier this year. This version seems to be a toned down version of Reverb, staying predominantly red while the silver accents on the figure are now painted brown.

None of these figures have official names yet, but we'll keep you posted.

Take a look in the image gallery.

The only released scout I haven't seen yet is the toaster. Sonar and the red baron(yeah I'll be calling him that) are the only 2 scout repaints I want. Great little figures though!

LOL, isn't funny that the only 2 scouts I haven't bought yet (Ransack, Dune Runner) get the best repaints so far, so I can actually get those instead? XD

at first i thought 'why in hell would you repaint ransack, cause his original paint was pretty sweet?' well as against it as i was that red baron paint scheme is pretty awesome..not sure if i;ll buy him again though. money ain't free.

The title of this story says "Knock Off" - I think it means "Knock Out".

I have no problem with every scout mold getting 2 decos. This close tofether means you can pick the one you like better. If you are a fan of G1 or Gobots you get the repaints, if not get the original.

Actually I'd consider this as sensible as well if only for the fact that I can still call it Sideswipe and have a movie version of the character in G1 red colors instead of silver.

Yet you can't cite an example. As I stated, I'm completely willing to conceed where I'm proved wrong (or contradictory). I don't see where I was, and I'd like someone to show me where these contradictions are. I'm curious. Maybe I'm not being as clear as I thought I was.... read more
