Tony Todd Says He Will Return in Transformers 3

By bwbm on Monday, February 08, 2010

Tony Todd has revealed in a recent interview that he will return in Transformers 3 and explosions will also return.

He does not specify what role he will play in the film, but when asked if he will definitely return in Transformers 3, the Den of Geek quotes him as saying, "You want to quote me? What I was told last month, yes. But that's Hollywood!" When solicited on a little preview of the film, Mr. Todd said, "there's more of it!" and thumping on the desk with his hand while making explosion sounds, continuing, "Something along those lines!"

This is a little bit of a deviation from what Director Michael Bay said about the third addition to the franchise, which he said would rely less on the number of robots and explosions, but focus more on the robot character.

However, given the jump of explosions from Transformers to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, less explosions could simply mean we return to the level of Transformers.

The following is the segment of the interview involving Transformers 3:
Den of Geek: Are you involved in Transformers 3 do you think?

    Tony Todd: Yes.

    Definitely?

You want to quote me? What I was told last month, yes. But that's Hollywood!

Is there anything you can tell us about it? It's got to be worth a try.

No! There's more of it! [Laughs, starts thumping desk and making explosion sound effects]. Something along those lines!
For the full interview, which discusses more of Mr. Todd's past and future work, head over to Den of Geek.

Following the now world famous gaff with Transformers 4 Age of Extinction director Michael Bay's at Samsung UHDTV Curve TV debut. We have some so-called "leaked footage" of exlcusive movie material that Bay said he would be giving Samsung to promote their new UHDTV Curve TV. Watch the clip that shows a bunch of new scenes, that may or may not be in the movie, demonstrating the incredible technology after the jump. Unfortunately, the video is too far away to make out the scenes.
This is a public service announcement! After much confusion on the web, I thought I would go ahead and review the new Transformers Age of Extinction Flip & Change figure - as this is ***NOT*** The Voyager Generations Advanced Movie figure. This is for kids! So, sit back, pop some corn, and check this out... for the little ones....
Thanks again to YouTuber Transformers And Power Rangers Toy Reviews who have posted a video review of the Transformers 4 Age of Extinction Grimlock Voyager Class action figure. The reviewer says: "Transformers 4 Age of Extinction Voyager Grimlock has his flaws, but he really is an excellent figure with an obscene amount of character and gravitas. I haven't seen figures with posture like this since the glory days of Transformers Animated. Watch the video review of this"
Thanks to youtuber Optibotimus who has posted a video review for Dinobot Slug Transformers Age of Extinction deluxe class figure. Get the scoop on this new toy that won't be in stores till May 17th. Thanks again to YouTuber Transformers And Power Rangers Toy Reviews who have posted a video review of the Transformers 4 Age of Extinction Smash and Change Optimus Prime action figure. The reviewer says: "Transformers 4 Age of Extinction Smash and Change Optimus Prime isn't a good toy, but his saving grace is he actually works, unlike the Flip and Change Grimlock figure. I do not recommend this guy, but I could see his clicky-pen transformation being interesting if a future figure did more with it." Watch the review to see why.
