G1 Transformers Infographic - More Than Meets the Alternate Mode
robo_rob - Friday, January 28, 2011

The guys at Comic Alliance decided to put up an infographic about G1 Transformers for entertainment and information purposes. You know, because they love G1 so much and wanted to show a little of that love. Comically, they made quite a few mistakes. It gets downright hilarious by the bottom of the thing. Oddly enough, the thing came from a car insurance site.

Stay tuned to Tformers.com for more details as they are made available. Your best resource for all the Transformers news and community every day.

This thing is actually kind of cool in its own way. It obviously can't be taken too seriously so I'm not going to waste time picking it apart. Two things though: 1)I loved the description of Rodimus Prime as a "Cybertronian RV". That is awesome. 2)The picture they used for Wheelie ... read more

Shame it was so poorly done. It would of been something neat to hang on the wall. As for Fast Lane, isn't he more a dragster than a "dune buggy"?

Props to frogDNA for his G1 animation styled RotF Prime being 'mistaken' as a cartoon image. =)

Wasn't U-haul the robots Megatron was using back during the Orion Pax days on Cybertron? And by now we should all know what that means! Actually wait, after looking over the image one more time I just have to say how grossly inaccurate some of these are!

Not to mention there were 1994 vehicles in a cartoon that aired in the 1980s. Nostradamus'd!

A 1994 Volkswagen Beetle for Goldbug you say... does VW know they made such a thing? (Yes, I know they made the old Type I for Mexico and all points south). I also don't remember 1985 Toyota HiLuxes looking like they did in 1978.

Thanks agian to TF@Moon - This video contains cut & altered audio from the Transformers Generation One episode The Ultimate Doom Part 1. The audio is from an original cassette tape of session that took place when Dan Gilvezan was not present and so Wally Burr read his lines. The video ends with the full audio recording from the "human horde" session that would ultimate be spliced into place during final editing.
Hasbro Toy Shop has posted their listing for the new Rubik's Crew Optimus Prime figure! You may feel that the collectible display figure market has gotten a bit of a big head, with new lines PoPping up left and right. But Rubik's Crew gives an actual purpose to cuteified SD display figures: Optimus Prime's head is a fully functional puzzle whose body serves as a display stand. Keep reading to see the photos!
Looks like the two foot tall Unicron is not the end for statuary from Soldier Story. The generously-described "lamp" that depicts Unicron standing atop Cybertron's surface is apparently to be joined in future by a planet mode Unicron as well. No indication of its specific light up elements yet, though it seems to be more of a prototype, at least judging by its stand being partly comprised of Bandai Action Base parts. Also shown was a grey prototype for Rodimus Prime unleashing the power of the Matrix. It's a bit easier to guess what will light up on that one! Check out the pictures below.
If your answer is "yes," then Transformers@The Moon has come through for you again! On the tail-end of their recently-released tape for War of the Dinobots, TF@TM have discovered a session of generic robot kitty sounds recorded by Frank Welker, with voice direction by the one and only Wally Burr! Keep reading to hear.
Transformers at the Moon is back with another upload of lost G1 cartoon audio. In a little bit shorter entry, this installment features War Of The Dinobots, with a few instances of extended scenes, and one marked as having been missing from the episode as broadcast. Fun things to listen for here are unfiltered Dinobot voices, more of Laserbeak clearly being Chris Latta pretending to be falling down some stairs, and Trailbreaker laughing an absolutely inappropriate amount at his own joke. Catch it all in the embedded video below!
