TakaraTomy Transformers 3 DA-15 Jetwing Prime Priced, Sets You Back $190 USD

We brought you images this morning of TakaraTomy's upcoming exclusive Transformers Dark of the Moon DA-15 Jetwing Optimus Prime and now we can tell you that the figure will retail for 15,540 Yen (~$190 USD).

Wait, did you hear that?

Oh it was your wallet screaming.

Japanese retailer Rakuten has posted a product page for the DA-15 Optimus Prime, which you can currently pre-order for 10,878 Yen (~$133 USD).

The retailer has also provided pre-order pages for:
  • DA-16 Ultimate Ironhide (8,400 Yen/~$103 USD);
  • DA-17 Space Optimus (4,200 Yen/~$52 USD);
  • DA-18 Nitro Bumblebee (2,730 Yen/~$34 USD); and
  • DA-19 Mudflap (2,730 Yen/~$34 USD).

  • None of these pages have images of the figures.

    All are slated for a July 2011 release.

    no thank you. it'd be more reasonable if the figure looked a bit more accurate.. but a hunk of grey plastic isn't worth that much. plus, it's not like the base body has buster prime type paint either.

    You may never have heard of the Sega R360 system before today - I hadn't! - but it's a fascinating idea: an enclosed pod for arcade gaming that can rotate in any direction.     Toys Daily have posted a handful of new in-hand images showing off the Sci-Fi Revoltech Series No. 040 Optimus Prime DX action figure that is just out in Japan. This guy comes with the Jetwing that debuted in the Dark of the Moon movie that has us salivating. Optimus Prime DX is shown in many positions with and without his gear on for a nice overview of the production release. While this figure may not transform, Revoltech has again made up for it in other ways with detailed sculpting, great articulation and loads of great accessories.
    The official APS-01 Striker Optimus Prime site has been updated with some more images showing the intimate details of Asian market exclusive action figure. The toy based on the Dark Of The Moon Striker Optimus Prime is up-close to better view metallic paint applications, as well as the chrome grill, and close up details of the battle blades that have been added to this set. The limited edition figure will released in Asia only, excluding Japan, on September 28th of this month. See all the images and details below.
    Thanks to ACToys who have posted some new images showing us more angles on the recently announced release of the Takara Tomy Transformers DOTM Dark Energon Edition Megatron Leader Class toy. This figure is repaint of the Revenge Of The Fallen Leader Class Megatron. Check all the images of the dark leader Megatron figure after the jump.
    Revoltech have released a preview for the No. 40 Transformers Jetwing Optimus Prime DX super articulated figure package on their facebook page. Additionally, their YouTube channel been updated with a video showcasing the many features of this release that includes the Jetwing accessory that pays homage to the scene where Prime takes out Shockwave's driller in the Dark of the Moon film.
