Toys R Us Phillipines Grand Opening & Collectors Meet

Toys R Us opened its first ever Philippine branch last June 30, 2006.

The first major event was The Collectors' Meet held last September 23 to 30, 2006 at the 4th level, Robinson's Galleria West Wing Lobby.

The top collectors of Die Cast Collectors of the Philippines (DCPH), PinoyToyKolektor (PTK), Cybertron Philippines, and Sentai Manila showcased their collectibles during the event. TRU also gave a treat to toy enthusiats by supplying vintage action figures at reasonable prices. The event attracted the veteran toy collectors as well as the casual buyers.

Cybertron Philippines came in full force and displayed toys from Beast Wars and Transformers: Cybertron/Galaxy Force. Expect more from Cybertron Philippines.

DCPH also held its Swap Meet on the last day of the weeklong exhibit. The West Wing Lobby also became the venue of the get together of many PTK members.
