"Transformers 2" will be adding a new three-wheeled vehicle to the arsenal of things being featured in the film.
Thanks to an unnamed source, this vehicle, an all-black Can-Am Spyder, was spotted on a flat-bed trailer along with Ironhide's vehicle, the GMC Topkick.
The truck was headed to Philadelphia in time to kick off the film's
principal photography on June 2nd.
The vehicle is painted completely black and has two wheels in the front and one wheel in the back.
This may be the vehicle that the
Transformers Live Action Movie blog referenced when posting information on the upcoming shoot in Bethlehem, PA. However, the blog referenced a concept car and this vehicle was released last year and is obviously not a car. This may either be a completely different vehicle, or just some minor misinformation.
Could this be a new Transformer, perhaps? Or maybe a new vehicle for Sector 7 to play with?
We here at TFormers think that it could be Arcee. It's a plausible idea since the character was being tossed around for the first outing of the franchise, and she's been thrown around as a motorcycle alternate mode as of late.
Whatever it really is, though, we will have to wait and see as filming begins and spy shots start popping up in the interwebs.
Until then, though, check out the images our source sent in to us, as well as production images of the Can-Am Spyder.

What? I'm not the only one that noticed him, am I? And I'm not saying he NEEDS to be in there. He's in the second panel down on the same page where Prowl is reassuring Prime (with Cosmos in the foreground). He's on the far left, in the background, facing some sorta computer console.... read more |

Oh boy. Transformers have to scan alt modes that roughly equal their original form's mass. So if, say Arcee, came to Earth and scanned a Spyder or any other type of bike, then it's because she had a small form on Cybertron as well. It would be impossible for her to take on a larger alt mod... read more |

Say that is Arcee... she went from a car with no wheels, to a scooter with two (Micron Legend version of Armada Sureshock), to a bike with two, to another bike with two, to a car with four (Binaltech Tranny Arcee), and now a three-wheeler? Where's my damn unicycle Arcee? Can someone kitbash a BM... read more |

So if Arcee does make an appearence, just use the model they have in place and we'll just wait and see who the three wheeler is. Maybe Wheelie That'd be terrible. |

I could totally see that thing transforming into Ravage. That'd be very kickass to see this thing zoom up and then turn into a charging robotic Puma/panther. (Big cat.) I don't see a problem with macking him a cat bot either; seeing as we got a alien camaro named Bumblebee. On the other hand... read more |

I like the bike to be Arcee, but I think it would be cool if the pick-up ending up being Soundwave made up to look like Ironhide's Topkick mode(just to screw with the Autobots even more), but bot mode ends up completely different. With the bike ending up being Ravage and riding in the bed. |
