2005 BotCon Transformers Rarities Report

By News_Staff on Friday, September 23, 2005

Rik Alvarez treated all to a great slideshow of rare Lucky Draw, Prototype, and un-released transformer toys mid-morning. Included in his presentation were some of the following highly sought after figures.

Red Foot G1 Optimus Prime made in France - This figure was similiar to the G1 Prime except for some different paint apps on the head and of course, the signature red feet that made this figure so renowned.

  • Headmaster Kirk
  • Headmaster Lione
  • Headmaster Loafer
  • Headmaster Londoni
  • Headmaster Shuffler
  • Headmaster Trizer

These Headmaster figures were only the heads and were available only in Japan. They can connect to any headmaster body and show increased power levels over the heads released with the figures.

Red Tracks - Netherlands - Rumors have run rampant about a G1 Tracks variant in red. Many have sworn the figure never existed. Rik blew those rumors out of the water with a beautiful picture of Red Tracks that was actually released in the Netherlands.

Lucky Draw Rodimus

Lucky Draw Blue Optimus Primal available through Bon Bon Manga 10 released.

Lucky Draw TV Magazine Gold Lio Convoy - A figure that was limited to just 10 pcs, this solid gold figure garnered awe from the attendees along with his counterpart, also limited to 10 pcs, Galva Lio Convoy, who was a Lio Convoy painted in Galvatron colors.

Lucky Draw Generation Volume 2 Gold Primus / Rodimus Prime - Limited to just 100pcs.

Lucky Draw Black Fire Convoy Lucky Draw RID Prime - Limited to just 100pcs.

These people need to get together and create a book, I'd love to see pictures of all of these!

This is all well and good, and great to hear about, but this thread desperatly needs pictures of these rare figures.

Someone email archer and and her to put together a PDF or send over and copy of the slide show in powerpoint or something, MUST SEE PICS

Especially the unreleased items, those are the ones that interest me the most.
