2008 BotCon - Convention Exclusives Preview

Just coming in are images from 2008 BotCon giving us a look at the Convention Exclusives preview. Get a first look at the Piranacon combiner, Astrotrain, Chormia, Nightbeat, the Souvenir 3-pack #1 ($100) with Sideswipe, Blurr and Divebomb, Souvenir 3-pack #2 ($100) with Megatron, Rodimus and Rampage and more now being added to the image gallery.

but the oranges and yellows look really out of place... no wonder they had trouble finding a retailer to carry them... i love the seacons and am looking to complete my g1 version but this is not a good update

Yeah, it's a loud color scheme, but it's already growing on me, and I'm sure in person it looks better than on screen. It's funny... I can't help but look at them and think, "If the Seacons were re-released during G2, would they have looked like this?" In any case, m... read more

Spoke with Pete@Botcon while I was down there getting my figures. Piranacon & Nightbeat should be available next month from the TFCC store, barring any more issues regarding packaging. Obviously the Ironhide, Chromia, Deathsaurus, etc, are from the '05 figure set which was still available.
