By Primus on Friday, April 25, 2008

We're still rolling with news and images from the BotCon 2008 with this cycle featuring the Robot Heroes that Madhammer and all of you are so ghey for. Hasbro put out a whole whole lot of them together so we don't know what's new. View all the little suckers in the image gallery.

I like how they bring in visual cues from the toys as well. And IMO these guys are waaaaaaaaay better than the Takara PVCs, in that the Robot Heroes have a zillion percent more personality than the stasis-lock-pose SCF guys. I think these are more true to the cartoon version than any transforming version could be, and I like that. I also like that they are small, as my shelf space is limited. RH allows me to have a nice collection of G1 guys without an enormous investment of money and space.

I'm a fan of Blaster's beatdown pose.

They are pretty cool...I love Thrust's pose. It looks like he should be on the front of a D-Qwon instructional video.
