This is in prototype stage. Check out Powerglide and Cyclonus at their prototype stage, same blocky look. I know the ironhide proto pic is still around and that will give you an idea of HOW different they look when produced.

Jizai would also have to stop producing these by hand and find a factory to come down in price.

Jizai would have to seriously come down in price before I would consider buying one of their figures. I do agree she looks way to blocky

This toy fails my Transformer toy rule. The cost and size are disproportionate.

MOOOON RACER! ... Get it? ... No? Seriously though; I'm not interested unless it sees some improvement from prototype to final phase. Awww... who am I kidding? Even if I liked it I wouldn't be able to afford it...

If the official Masterpiece Conehead Seekers thus far are not quite hitting that sweet spot for you, another unofficial alternative is making its way over the hoizon. Toyworld has posted on their Weibo page showing some testshot images of their lineup of MP-scale Coneheads, albeit thus far only on vehicle mode. A side by side with Starscream established a nice scale, and they're showing off their model of flight display stand, and a mystery accessory part! We've got these photos mirrored, so click through to see how they look!

The new Fans Toys FT-21 Berserk features 3 modes of transformation. It stands 24.5cm / 9.8" tall in robot mode and contains diecast metal parts. Fans of the Blitzwing character will recognize this figure as an upgraded MP style homage. The figure is listed for pre-order to ship in June 2017 at a price of $144.99 USD. Get yours now at bigbadtoystore.com. Read on to see the prototype images for more details.
With MakeToys, TakaraTomy and Ocular Max all seemingly employing a slightly different philosophy in terms of aesthetics, it would seem that we are completely spoiled for choice and that everyone’s specific preference will be catered for across the many Masterpiece-style fire truck releases. Ocular Max have incorporated what seems to be a very real-world accurate vehicle mode and tried to appease both toy and toon crowds...
Iron Factory posted to Weibo today, offering up a batch of new photos of Soul Reaper. This figure is based on the Transformers Victory character Black Shadow, albeit by way of the Generations Deluxe toy rather than the original Pretender version. But if anything, this Legends-scale figure seems to be doing everything it can to upstage its larger official counterpart, but perhaps that's easier to do when approaching a common design a few years after its release? Keep reading to take a look at the pictures.
