This is in prototype stage. Check out Powerglide and Cyclonus at their prototype stage, same blocky look. I know the ironhide proto pic is still around and that will give you an idea of HOW different they look when produced.

Aren't we already getting a semi-professional production run of the fembots from the guys that did the recent Arcee figure?? Aside from that though, I'd say the final version of this particular Jizai toy will look better than these prototype pics; their stuff usually does. Powerglide is abs... read more

Jizai would also have to stop producing these by hand and find a factory to come down in price.

Jizai would have to seriously come down in price before I would consider buying one of their figures. I do agree she looks way to blocky

This toy fails my Transformer toy rule. The cost and size are disproportionate.

MOOOON RACER! ... Get it? ... No? Seriously though; I'm not interested unless it sees some improvement from prototype to final phase. Awww... who am I kidding? Even if I liked it I wouldn't be able to afford it...

More Third Party News
FansProject has posted a bunch of photos of upcoming figures this morning, including LER-04 Severo (AKA Grimlock) and its DX version which comes with a crown and throne! Also on display are Ryu-Oh (Dinoking) and the Tricerabot shell for its core figure Dinoichi(Kakuryu)! Read on to see it all!
Genmon Photo Vault on Facebook again offers a set of excellent photos. This time looking at the just-released Unite Warriors Menasor wearing the Perfect Combiner PC-01 hands and feet and the PC-04 body kit. Besides showing how the parts look on the Takara release, they do a great job of demonstrating just what kind of mobility Menasor can have using the parts. If you've been on the fence about either upgrade, these might be what sells you. Click through to see it yourself!
From the Facebook page of Genmon Photo Vault, we've got a great look at the color testshot of Boost, X-Transbots' take on Windcharger. Though this example is said to be without any paint work, it's already looking quite nice, and the photos go through a nice overview including a step-by-step look at how the arms and legs transform, plus size comparisons with similar figures. There's also a couple quick glimpses of a testshot of Hatch - the unofficial Tailgate sharing this mold. Click through to check it out!
Toyworld has released new photos showing off a fully assembled copy of their dinosaur combiner. Having been seen previously as generally incomplete assemblies and without production colors, this is our first real look at the intended outcome of Toyworld's Dinobot project, and it certainly is something! We'll have to wait to see if other angles change the perception, but at the moment it's very much living up to the legacy of Dinobot combiners. To see it for yourself, click through and check out the full image.
Generation Toy has added a new post on their Weibo page showing off what seems to be finalized deco copies of their first two Gravity Builder figures. Seen recently as color testshots, the figures now have a much more complete finish with necessary paint detail added. The text of the post also suggests GT-1A might have been renamed from "Scraper" to the less-obvious "Forklift Truck", though machine translation is hardly the most reliable source for this. Click through to have a look at all the new photos!
