has anybody watched the DVD yet? IS anybody disappointed by this movie? I own the re-mastered Rhino DVD version, and was expecting a high-quality release as the same vein as the rhino dvd. When i popped in the DVD, i was kinda disappointed that it wasnt re-mastered, sure, the menus seem ok, but man...i feel i bought the DVD only for the extras, and the cool cover it comes with ><;;

i agree. i am slightly disappointed. I think there was some good cleanup done on this vs my old Tformers movie DVD... but nothing tantilizing. Maybe the before and after image cleanup they showed at the con was... i dunno... fixed to make it look like a whollop of an improvement?

Easter Eggs - (Contains Spoilers) (Score: 1)

So far I have found two easter eggs. The first two I found are both on Disc 1.

#1. On the main dvd menu screen you can hit the right arrow until it highlights the autobot/decepticon logo and you will find some old commercials.

#2. On the SET UP menu on disc one - go to the "English 2.0 Stereo" and hit the right arrow and you will be able to press play on SOUNDWAVE. This will take you to a few more comments from the director, writer, and arcee.

I just got the DVD so give me time and i will post more.

I understand that this is color corrected, but I have watched this movie countless times on my Rhino and VHS copies and things just don't look right. Is Hot Rod supposed to be bright pink? I tried it on another TV to see what it looked like, but I am just wondering if anybody else is concerned about the colors.

Here is the third one I have found so far.

# 3 - On the second disc go to the bonus feature menu. Then go to "Activate Autobot City" hit the left arrow which will send you to the "Main Menu" option, now click the up arrow and you will highlight a Decepticon Logo which you can hit enter on to access the third easter egg.

On this easter egg you will see a classic 80's commercial from Lite Brite featuring a transformer design.

The bilingual cover version in Canada doesn't have the reflective sheet on the cover. Instead, it came with a Decepticon logo fridge magnet about 2-3 inches tall, with the movie and 20th anniversary label at the bottom. Not sure if an autobot version is avaiable, haven't found it in the stores yet. Anyone know?

On Disc two, the egg is in the same spot as disc one, in the main menue, but how you get there? I found it by chance with my ps2, I was using up and right in combos. It's a commercial for prizes and disguises I beleive. Reflective badges that came with the toys that let you know if you won prizes, wich included a voice changer and a bday party with real life size transformers. 80s

Highlight the "Bonus features" then hit right, up, up - and you will highlight the icon !!

Also go to the autbot matrix of knowledge and turn it on so the trivia facts appear on screen. Start the movie, skip ahead until you get to the scene where ultra magnus gets blown apart, when galvatron gives the order - wait for the trivia fact to come up and hit enter on your remote = Easter Egg # 6
