Transformers 4 Age of Extinction Wahlberg Reboots Reboot, Signed For More Movies, Raynor Hints at Sparks?

By BaCon on Thursday, March 27, 2014

Thanks to YouTuber Gig Patta who posted more interviews from CinemaCon 2014 with the Transformers Age of Extinction stars Mark Wahlberg, Jack Raynor and Nicola Peltz, Get some new comments from Wahlberg about this being a "Stand Alone" movie and signing with Paramount to do more Transformers movies. Jack Raynor also gives us some interesting insights that hint at how the Age of Extinction Transformers may have changed.

When asked about how this movie will be different from the first three Transformers movies. Mark Wahlberg who plays, Cade in the movie, again reiterates his comment about this being a "Stand alone" movie. He even let's us know that he has signed up to do more Transformers movies if this one does well.
I have been telling everyone this really is a stand alone movie. Dispite the fact they call it Transformers 4. its a completely different story. It takes place after the battle of Chicago...Its very different from the other one.

They [Paramount] certainly make you sign with the anticipation its going to be a success. That you will do more. Umm, but as of now we did one and we will see what happens.

Jack Raynor who plays Tessa's boyfriend, Shane. Has some interesting comments about the Transformers robots in the fourth movie. If I didn't know better, he could be hinting at their sparks when he refers to their "souls."
We are going to see a very different type of Autobot in this movie. These guys have really changed from the previous three films. They are kind of different souls if you know what I mean. And, I think that you know its just so action-packed and high-octane that its really going to keep people gripped.

Transformers 4: Lost Age is out in Japan, and TakaraTomy is supporting the movie with both toy commercials, and a themesong for the kids' line of figures: "Kakkoeasy!" It's one of those difficult to translate Japanese wordplays that combines the words "Kakkoii" ("handsome" or "cool-looking") and "Easy" (which is written "i-ji-" in Japanese.) Definitely a song for little kids, but one with the sinister potential to bore into your head and never leave. Keep reading to hear it for yourself and see the toy commericial too!
