Transformers 4: Age of Extinction - London Toy Fair To Showcase New Toys, Games and More From Movie
BaCon - Saturday, January 11, 2014

Toy News Magazine have posted their January / February issue with news and details on the Transformers 4: Age of Extinction products we will be seeing on preview.

Jay Duke, VP Global Transformers Brand Marketing lets us know:
The Transformers brand brings all new ways to be entertained and engage with the brand. Transformers: Age Of Extinction will do this, as Michael Bay outlines with an all new storyline. With a new movie, kids and fans can anticipate an innovative new product line and a variety of entertainment experiences".

What makes Transformers a great fit for the big screen is bringing together everything a boy could want with the ultimate robots and the coolest cars.

Hollywood loves the Transformers brand because Transformers has great story, compelling characters and exciting products.

There's also a mention from Paladone Products that we will be seeing 30 different characters presented as waves of 14 figures, we're not sure how many will be movie and or other characters made for Paladone's figurine (non-transforming?) line:
New for 2014 is Paladone's Transformers figurine collection, which will be launched to coincide with the 30th anniversary release of the first generation of Transformers and the latest film franchise, Transformers 4. There will be 30 collectible Transformers figurines, which will be released as two separate series of 15 characters each in order to build anticipation among collectors.

Each figure will feature the official 30th anniversary logo and contain a fold out checklist of all the figurines available and a matching collector card. The Transformers figurine collection will be available in foil, three and five packs.

We won't know for sure what's going to be revealed until the show, but judging from all the companies listed in the issue, it is expected we'll be seeing Transformers: Age Of Extinction products including action figures, figurines, costumes, games, accessories, apparel, kids bikes and more including some of the Transformers 30th Anniversary merchandise as well. Keep it dialed here for all the news as its made available

Man, if you're going to leak, LEAK. Don't be cute about it, it's annoying. TF-factory, the usual Weibo leaker, has struck again. Today's first round of leaks revolves around the Studio Series, the movie line expected to start somewhere around next April. We have new package images for Brawl, Optimus Prime, and Starscream - though the latter two have been both pixelated AND had their contents scribbled over - and a piece of artwork for Starscream. Click through to see.
Happy Weibo Leak Day, I guess? The same Weibo source that brought us the image of the box back panel now has posted images of the upcoming Movie Series Blackout and its accessory Scorponok! The figure is quite impressive looking, and as we learned from the packaging already, boasts a 46-step transformation. Keep reading to see!
Next up on the leaks from Weibo users this morning, "tf-factory" has also dropped package-back images of Leader Brawl and Megatron from the upcoming movie line! ...but, they've been marked through. Either someone's being an extra-clever leaker, or Hasbro has gone very effectively low-tech in their leak prevention efforts! But if you'd like an unobstructed view of an as-yet unreleased figure we've also mirrored images of Authentics Grimlock here. Keep reading!
A user on Weibo has shared out a partial image of the back of box for an upcoming Blackout toy. What is presumed to be a Leader Class figure from the recently-named 'Studio Series' lineup as revealed via Toys R Us inventory data can be seen (in typical CG render style) in both robot and vehicle modes, and includes a small scorpion mode Scorponok partner figure just as the original Voyager Class Blackout did way back in the 2007 movie line. Little specifics can be discerned, but we do get to see the call-out for a 46 step transformation process, to which we can say only: Yikes! Click through to view the full size image.
The 4K UHD release the first four Transformers films: TRANSFORMERS, TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN, TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON and TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION, which will be released on December 5th (TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT is available now on 4K UHD). All releases come in a 3-disc 4K UHD/Blu-ray Combo Pack with Digital copy.
