By Jack on Tuesday, October 09, 2012

Michael Bay recently spoke with ET about the Transformers 4 movie that is working with Doritos Super Bowl Ad contest to have the winner on the set of Transformers 4. Bay talks a little bit about the 4th film that he took after saying he would not, is backing away from the total reboot claims and says he is now planning for a continuation from where the "Dark of the Moon" movie left off with a "Different Feel" and feature predominently new actors, even tho Peter Cullen and Tyreese have said they have been called back for 4.
What I can say is that it's going to pick up where the other three left off," said Bay of the film, which will predominantly feature new actors from its predecessors. "It's going to feel very different. It's going to definitely open the franchise up for many more to come, and it's going to have a freshness to it.

Maybe this new fresh feel will have more TF looking facing instead of those ugly ones from before. But I think he's talking about a story telling mode. If its a continuation, I wonder if they'll show that Cybertron is OK. It better not have Unicron in it, that's all I know.

i'm really eager to see who the new Decepticons will be. it's gonna be an entirely new cast since they all died in DOTM and the whole "reviving the dead" plot device has been used enough. My bet is it'll be a huge army of Megatron loyalists invading from Cybertron to avenge t... read more

Thanks to an article by william-james88 of Seibertron, we have scans of a photo shoot from the September issue of Elle Italia, the Italian version of the long-running fashion magazine. In the photos, model Josephine Skriver is shown shopping on New York's Fifth Avenue with her boyfriend from space - who is none other than the movie version of Optimus Prime! Keep reading to see the photos.
Olivus Prime of the TFW2005 Forums was able to sit down with Mark Ryan recently and talk Transformers movies. Ryan is the voice behind Revenge of the Fallen's Jetfire and Age of Extinction's Lockdown, and spoke of his inspiration for Jetfire, the amount of his own acting that was put into Lockdown... and perhaps most interestingly, a hint at the direction of Transformers 5 and the Transformers Cinematic Universe at large. Read on to see what he had to say!
Get your views in on the Transformers movies listed on Netflix as they will be removed from the listing at the end of September. Transformers: Age of Extinction and a number of other films such as the Hunger Games, World War Z that are part of the Epix distribution deal, have not been renewed at this time. We've been here before, where the deal was done only to be re-done at the zero-hour. Read on to see the quote from Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer at Netflix.
Empire Online has posted a ranking of the 100 greatest characters to feature in a movie, as selected by their readership. And Optimus Prime managed to make the list! Just barely avoiding falling in to dead last place, Optimus Prime ranks 98 out of 100. We're not entirely sure on what criteria people made their choices, but the bullet points on Empire's list might have you believe it's due to Optimus riding a dinosaur. We can but wonder if he wouldn't have ranked higher had he not murdered Frasier a short time later. Click through to get a link to the full list.
Following the long slow run up to Transformers 5 and the Cinematic Universe. We have some new insights from Daredevil writer Steven Dekinght. He's been part of the writers room sessions and gives us his take how things are unfolding. Paramount are "pulling all the stops" including a visit from Steven Spielberg himself. While no word on what the new Transformers 5 movie being worked on now by Akiva Goldsman and Jeff Pinkner, we do get a sense the new blood may actually produce a movie a story in it.
