Transformers 4 - Dinobots, Galvatron and Others Rumored to Make Appearances in New Movie

By BaCon on Tuesday, May 21, 2013

Just in is some very interesting rumors about the Dinobots, Galvatron and Hound coming to the bit screen. Read on for the details on this unconfirmed news. According to their report, we will be seeing some kind of interesting mix up with Lockdown and Galvatron on the Decepticons side. That will be counter balanced by Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and the Dinobots on the Autobots side. Read the the rumor info from JoBlo now.
...gleaned from a recent marketing event. One of those projects is TRANSFORMERS 4
...
our source has confirmed that TRANSFORMERS 4 will feature none other than the famed Dinobots, including fan favorite Grimlock.
...
One of the villains of the film will be a character named Lockdown, who has a ship full of decommissioned Transformers, including the dinobots, which are somehow brought back to life by a captured Optimus Prime.
...
Prime is joined by returning autobot Bumblebee and at one point both characters (and potentially others) will "ride" the Dinobots into battle in Hong Kong (which fits well within the announcement that the film would film partially in China), with Prime on Grimlock and Bumblebee on a Pterandon, presumably Swoop.

Additionally, the autobot Hound will make his debut, as well as a former "Samurai" Decepticon that wants to regain his honor and become an Autobot. And what about Megatron, who is presumed dead after the last film? Well, fans of TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE will be happy to know that not only will the dinobots be making their debut, but also Galvatron.

Supposedly, this news coming out some marketing event. Which is somewhat plausable for the time frame of the movie and when things need to get rolling. What most interesting is Bay has made it clear in the past that he thought the Dinobots were lame. Which does make one wonder of the validity of these claims. Only time will tell.

Via their Facebook page, Prime 1 Studios has shared images of an upcoming Premium Bust Series entry based on Brawn from the 2007 Transformers movie. The bust captures a lot of the upper body vehicle elements in great sharpness and detail, and makes an excellent representation of the character as he appeared in the movie before being killed by Bumblebee. This update does not present information regarding release date or price, but given the level of completion, we expect that to be revealed soon. Keep reading to see all the pictures!
Thanks to Target.com who have posted new order pages with images of the Transformers Age of Extinction Power Attackers Junkheap, Vehicon, and High Octane Bumblebee. Get an official look at the final Wave 4 figures in the packaging now.
Live-action Transformers composer Steve Jablonsky has posted an illuminating explanation to Facebook to help us understand why the Age of Extinction (and, as it turns out, Dark of the Moon) soundtracks have been removed from iTunes. In short, it has to do with music licensing fees that kick in at a certain threshold- and Paramount doesn't want to have to pay them. Keep reading for Jablonsky's full statement!
The official TakaraTomy PR Twitter account for Transformers has posted a new photo of Army Camo Hound, a recolor of the Generations Voyager mold that is part of a special box set with the Japanese home video release of Age of Extinction. It's not a huge difference from the mass release in either country, but it looks pretty nice and should be a nice bonus for those who want the Japanese Blu-Ray version of Transformers 4. Keep reading to see the photo!
Michael Bay's official account has posted a 10-minute outtake reel to Vimeo! Plenty of behind-the-scenes action to be seen, along with a couple of cameras falling victim to the master of explosions. Also notable: Kelsey Grammer covered in blood and ash, saying "I was this close!" Keep reading to see it for yourself!
