Transformers 4 - Lorenzo Says New Movie Is Completely Different Without Shia LaBeouf

According to the Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, In a recent interview with MTV, the Transformers 4 segment of the movies franchise will be "Completely Different," but goes on to add that "... a lot of the things that you love about the other ones are joining the ride." One of them is unlikely to be Sam Witwicky, played by Shia LaBeouf in the first three films. Whatever the deal with the new movie, it is starting to feel like these guys are trying to get people agitated about there being a total reboot, or not, with all the back and forth.

But what about Sam Witwicky, the hero of every "Transformers" movie up until now? Di Bonaventura leaves the door open for a cameo, but he does not see it right now. "I don't believe that would be true. You never know. Things are not set in stone, and if something evolved and that came naturally. That wouldn't be the intention," he said. "The intention is this is new world, with new characters, with Mark Wahlberg leading us. It's a different movie, but a lot of the things that you love about the other ones are joining the ride."
