Re: 6-Inch RID Optimus Prime & Starscream Pics (Score: 1) by Tramp on Thursday, January 25, 2007 @ 05:40:23 PM | | The RID Prime looks pretty good, but that supposed "War Within" Starscream is not War Within Starscream. It's WW Thundercracker with Starscream's paint job. None of the Seekers in War Within shared a transformation. Each was unique in how they transformed and their final jet modes, and that is not how Starscream transforms in the comic; not by a long shot. Their similarities were only cosmetic. To properly transform, Starscream's hands slide into his forearms, the lower torso rotates around 180° bringing the nose cone in line with the fuselage, and then the legs fold up underneath as the vents that make up is obliques, rotate forward 90°. Then the entire back and shoulder section flips up like Cybertron Starscream, except the tail isn't two pieces, it flips up over the head. That is how Starscream is supposed to transform. Thus, when in jet mode, Starscream's arms become air intakes and are still clearly visible. Skywarp's transformation is ever more different since, in his case, it is the nose cone that folds up over his head and the tail is attached to his legs. It is literally the reverse of the other two Seekers. For a WW Starscream, they should have made a completely new mold, not used Thundercracker's. |

They have to maximize the mold in order to realize full profit margin after all. This is a business, not a fantasy. |
