Nice re-creation of Magnus. Original robot was only a battle power armour for Convoy/Optimus, but the Transformer Version Has been Always a robot with own personality. I like specially Car robots Magnus and Energon´s.

P.S. Can we get a repaint of him as Optimus Prime diaclone style, would be fitting to finally have a prime follow magnus. Or a Nemesis Magnus

RID Magnus up until this point has been the best Hasbro has offered. I just hope articulation is at least decent, which it looks like it is.

Wow, finally something that looks like G1 Ultra Magnus! Now if only the trailer was armour and the cab a Prime repaint, like the original, I'd be in Ultra Magnus heaven! <-- shouldn't I have just bought the original or the re-issue? great questions...

I received this guy last week. Was really excited and it's a bit of a letdown. I remember reading all the hype about him being a one-piece Titanium figure, i.e. no annoying loose parts to fall off like original Ti megatron, but this is not the case.

let me start by saying that this Ti UM looks good in robot mode. The transformation is simplistic as expected with Ti. Most disappointing are the weak ball joints that hold the arms to the shoulders. They pop off VERY easily. Truck mode looks OK, but leaves much to be desired with the arms hanging loose, nowhere to connect.

In robot mode, the truck cab simply sits there behind his peanut head, a gigantic, unfinished plastic cavity.

also annoying is the fact that they even call this a titanium figure when the only metal parts are the lower leg and the main chest area. the rest is plastic, and cheap feeling plastic at that.

This toy would be oh-so-cool as a normal, fully articulated transformer. the paint job is quite nice and the head sculpt is decent as well.

overall, this Ti UM probably has a decent future as a display-only piece. I will continue to wish for a fully-articulated, durable, G1 UM that looks like the movie UM with proper blue paint.

cheers
