However, the reason why it was called Beast Machines in the first place is that if they'd stuck with their original name of Beast Hunters they would've had to change the name for international release again. |

In Canada Beast Wars was called Beasties, actually. Beast Machines' title was left as-is. |

That could be because, as he mentioned earlier in the interview, in Canada Beast Wars was called Beast Machines, "War" having been deemed "to violent" for the name of a show. So in Canada, and Chalk is Canadian, you had Beast Wars known as Beast Machines, plus the actual show B... read more |

He seems like a pretty cool guy and he was, of course, spot-on about the movie. Off that he didn't seem to know that Beast Wars and Beast Machines were separate series, though. He seemed to think that they were just seasons 4 and 5 of Beast Wars. |
