While perusing the rather depleted remains of the Transformers section at one of the local Super WalMarts, I managed to locate Camshaft...not a bad mold, but since I'm l acking funds i could not purchase him. I did however take a picture with my camera phone which I will post in the forums at Tfans.com.

Even though its just Camshaft I'm still jealous. None of the store around here have gotten any new Alts since Skidz and I can't find Cybertron Soundwave either but Wal-Mart has 9 Metroplexes... (shakes head in disgust)

Man i know its crazy! I go to Target every day just to see(its only 30 seconds away walking) and nothing. Freaking skinds been there for ever but nothing new. Yesterday they got 1-Tracks & 1-Miester and 2-Soundwaves. I checked out Toysrus they have like 5- metroplexes & 15- Soundwaves and they still have old alternators like Battle Ravege & Tracks in the first box.
Im still waiting for optimus!

I placed my pre-order for the Mirage, Prime, Camshaft, and Meister case at BBTS about a month back. Still looking like a smart move as Alternators continue to run EXTREMEMY dry in my area (Bartlett & Schaumburg, IL) The last 2 weeks I've been to numerous targets, walmarts, and toyrus. At best a few stores had 1 or 2 of skids... at worst, nothing. No other molds found..
The TRU in Schaumburg is freshly stocked with most of the latest Cyberton and Titanium figures (no 6"). The shelf was loaded with Primus, Soundwave, Nemesis Breaker and a few others. I already own them, though.

I might get killed for saying this but...
1) Scooped up Alt Prime about 6wks ago at a Target. Saw another one in a Target in So. Sacramento, left him there. Had an overpowering urge to pick him up and resell him, but that goes against my core values.
2) Scooped up Alt Mirage last week at the same Target. Haven't seen one since.
3) IMO Camshaft can be just like Swerve... a pointless shelfwarmer.

I never saw Swerve around here. This is really messed up...what the heck is the distribution pattern for these things? Swerve remains the only Alt I don't have at this point...

Hmmm.... weird distribution indeed. Swerve was all over the place when I lived in the northwest. Sat on TRU and Fred Meyer shelves in So Oregon for weeks

I live in MA. I only saw Swerve in a store ONCE--glad I picked him up. I haven't seen any new ones since Skids--but I saw Tracks in the new box the other day, so I'm assuming someone beat me to the new ones.

Never saw Swerve in IL, either. Picked him up off of eBay while he was cheap. Paid $27/each for 2 w/shipping. Gave one to my brother as a gift. Glad I picked him up when I did. Prices are outrageous.

I just barely managed to get Alt Prime, Mirage and the re-release of Meister (I missed out the first time around) two weeks ago and I had to drive out to the waaaaaaaay outer suburbs to do it. Nothing in town yet and now people are seeing the next figure?!?!?!?!?

Great! I'd love to pick up Camshaft when he makes it over to New Jersey... I'm anxious to swap black parts with Prowl's gey-ass baby blue parts...
Anyway, I picked up a Mirage last week at Target in Menlo Park, NJ. Good Alternator. Great car, too!
Saw Jazz (looks GREAT!) and Prime, too. Prime looks Orange? WTF? I'll get Nemesis instead...
I passed up on Prime, though I could have sold it to a fellow TFan... Hmmm...
I've got Shockwave/blast and my Decepticon forces are alittle low, so I left Jazz for someone else... GREAT figure!

Crestwood/Sunset Hills - Toys R Us. (Prime, Primus, Metroplex)
Target in the city @ Hampton and Chippewa (Found Shockwave and a few Alts there)
Walmart - Maplewood and Kirkwood (Hit or Miss)

Oh, I hate these particular news items...the toy sightings. It's kinda unfair for me cuz I'm Down Under, and the order of shipping goes somewhat like this (according to the sighting lists I see): Japan, USA, Europe, all those fiddly islands in the middle of the Pacific, NZ, then it finally gets to us here in Aus.
It's especially annoying Alternators-wise, because I've only ever seen ONE Alternator on a shelf, and that was a few HOUNDS a few YEARS ago. I've never seen one up close since.
And I can't find a decent webpage to get them from. They all involve only shipping to USA, or involve a credit card, or just never have the ones I need (Amazon, which never has any of the Transformers that I want). It sucks being a 15-year old Aussie.
