Especially, since neither the price nor what we know about the toy (size, etc.) has fundamentally changed since the first announcement.

i like him a lot, and am tired of people bitching about the price... it is what it is i also like to see transformers that arent prime and megatron original bot ftw

Yeah, you can get several cheap kid's toys at Wal-Mart for the price of one uber-detailed adult collectable. That's like saying you could get 50 Happy Meal toys for the price of MP Prime.

I'd have sacrificed the scale of the Alternators if they had been a little sturdier... used stronger materials, and had more paint/mold details. I agree that quite a few of the Alternators seemed like they had details more fitting of a smaller scale. Their arms especially seemed a bit spindl... read more

yah... i agree that $50 is pretty steep when there's so many other awesome options in the next -/+12 6months from now. Maybe there will be some decent KO's ?? A Hasbro port would be welcome as well.

I keep my toy budget at a limit, no toys over $20 (before tax). It would be nice if Hasbro makes them here as well. And I'm sure if they do these toys would be $20. I think the line needs to develop more...right now we are all jazzed about 1 toy.

i like the new gimmick. people paid 90 bucks or more for the hybrid style convoy (which was tiny.) i can't wait for it to come in the mail.
