Animated Pulled from Cartoon Network Schedule

By Beast Megatron on Tuesday, October 06, 2009

After a successful run, "Transformers Animated" has finally been removed from Cartoon Network's schedule. The series, which aired its final episode several months ago, continued to air in syndication on weekday mornings long after its series finale. Now, "Animated" has been completely removed from Cartoon Network's schedule, with no episodes airing on the network in the near future. Thus ends a very bright era in Transformers cartoon history.

We are dedicated to being to be the best resource for all your Transformers news and reviews every day. Keep your browser dialed to Tformers.com for updates as they happen.

Artist Marcelo Matere posted on Twitter today that he's "working on Transformers Animated again," followed by a semicolon-bracket winky emoticon. He said that news would be coming soon, but the prospect of new TF Animated work is certainly welcome. Matere has worked on Animated package art for Hasbro as well as comic art and book covers for IDW, so there's no real way to narrow down what this new project will be just yet. For now, keep reading to see the original Tweet!
Hot on the heels of the third and final season of Transformers Animated making its way to DVD, Jim Sorenson and Bill Forster's amazing Allspark Almanac books have been combined into a single volume! List price is $39.99 though Amazon has a preorder for the book for $28, and the release date is February 15th 2015. Keep reading for a link to the preorder page!
