Animated Voyager Earth Mode Prime

We showed you the official images of Transformers: Animated voyager class Optimus Prime figure, but now "etoyshunter" is auctioning off the loose figure on eBay. Take a look at images of the figure in vehicle and robot modes, showing off his weapons and face mask below.

It's not Hasbro's fault that the idiots at Cartoon Network completely revamped the character design. If you can accept that the toy is a completely different version from the character in the cartoon, then it's a great toy. And quite frankly, the cartoon version is a bit of a dullard. Awesome beyond awesome. The only drawback is that the face plate isn't well implemented. when down, it becomes a chin guard, and looks funky. Now, before the series actually premeired, being a G1 guy, I just assumed I'd have it up all the time. But now, I've become so used to seeing him ... read more

That's what's so awesome about the Activators. Whenever they make a not-quite-perfect toy for an important character you can just get his miniature, autotransforming cousin while you wait for a proper figure to come out.
