Battle Damaged Optimus Prime Bust Images

By News_Staff on Tuesday, March 04, 2008 @ 12:19:42 PM

Thanks to TFans member Sami who's posted shots of the Diamond Select Battle Damaged Optimus Prime bust. This version includes custom battle damage paint applications and armor wear with really nice detail on the chest that opens up to reveal The Matrix. Check out the discussion with images now on TFans.

Yeah, like I was saying, it's a whole different head sculpt..They're close, but they are different enough. The Omega Supreme was listed at 13" but I think they're a bit off on that, as the pic there shows next to the Bumblebee statue (Palisades) which is only about 4" tall..And... read more

Great close up shot of Megs. It does look much better there than the official shots. The damaged Prime's faceplate looks shorter than the G1 faceplate. Is that true, or is it just the photo angles? I like it better that way. If so, I might grab him instead of the first one. And how tall is Omeg... read more

A great bust, and I have to say, all the offical images haven't captured his face properly..It's probably one of the best Gen-1 Megs heads ever made.

The BD Prime isn't metallic in the blue like the gen-1 is. But, over all. It's just a fa... read more

No, it's molded. You can't move/change anything on these guys.

Hey Sami, by chance is Optimus' chest hinged so it can close or is it permanently open? Its not something that would keep me from buying it, I'm just curious.

Yeah, I don't have Megs yet, I'll get him on ebay..I didn't want to spent 60$ on him thru AFX...They're a bit pricey, and slow on shipping..so,

I really want to get the damaged Prime and the reformatted Megatron. I've been thinking about getting the regular versions too. I like the regular Prime version enough to buy him, though I'm not sold on Megatron. His face really looks bloated and disproportionate. However I do absolutely... read more
