While we cannot say
we did not warn you, it seems that everything we have heard about "Transformers 2," save principal photography taking place
in Philadelphia in June, is all false.
Director Michael Bay confirmed the Philadelphia news himself and at the same time rejected all other rumors
on his official website forums yesterday.
Mr. Bay wrote the all-encompassing denial, "everything you are reading (other then we are shooting in Philly) is false."
Some but the most recent ones include
possible new characters and
Egypt being scouted by the director himself.

I think Bay realizes that the only thing anyone is going to care about with these movies is the robots. I expect misinformation with those guys, as we had with the first movie and the fake names. |

Well, I certainly want all the characters to exist for some story reason this time through, but that's independent of their leaking, I think. |

Well I agree with you there, well actually I don't, I didn't want to see characters that have no reason to exist, but I agree with you about the giant robot debating. That should be fun. But props to Bay and Co. for going all out with the misinformation. |

I guess, but I personally don't care if there's a brother or an ex-girlfriend or whatever. I can go either way. I don't see any point in faking it. I just want to see robot designs and debate whether that character will show up or turning into that thing and stuff. |

Maybe, but I would think if they were serious about leaking false info then leaking unimportant stuff along with cool giant robot designs would be the way to go. |

Misdirection. By leaking false, unimportant info as well as robot designs and possible 'Bot/Con lineups it creates an atmosphere within the Fandom that ANYTHING we hear could be a lie.
