While we cannot say we did not warn you, it seems that everything we have heard about "Transformers 2," save principal photography taking place in Philadelphia in June, is all false.

Director Michael Bay confirmed the Philadelphia news himself and at the same time rejected all other rumors on his official website forums yesterday.

Mr. Bay wrote the all-encompassing denial, "everything you are reading (other then we are shooting in Philly) is false."

Some but the most recent ones include possible new characters and Egypt being scouted by the director himself.
