Beast Hunters Ultra Magnus New Images and Review Transformers Prime Voyager

By BaCon on Saturday, May 04, 2013

Thanks to Snakas over at Autobase who has posted a simple review with images for the Beast Hunters Ultra Magnus voyater class action figure. Get a look at the repainted / remolded version of voyager Optimus Prime made over as Ultra Magnus. Our guess is the other mold was not used to save money on CGI modeling a new character, so we get a redux of the Optimus Prime character. Check out the images and review that has been translated from Japanese to english below for more details.
Ultra Magnus, Transformers Prime: products that appeared in Beast Hunter's Voyager class Assorted wave3.

Transformer Prime in the previous year: Even RiD, Ultra Magnus of the same class has been released, but there was a new item of the toy original design. This time, that order also appears to anime, on the assumption that borrowing the CG of the in the play, make a change to the design around the upper body mainly based on Optimus Prime. Product is also diverted RiD version Optimus Prime was released in the previous year.

Changes from Optimus Prime, mainly upper body. More specifically, and substantially all of the arms portion connected to them and the chest plate to move the movable arm during deformation, head, arms attached are newly designed.

In robot mode, characteristic inherited from G1 Ultra Magnus, shoulder part that extends above. This part can be used as a missile launcher to defeat forward. Missile extrusion expressions that do not use the spring. The Optimus, windbreak roof car mode has been deformed shoulder armor, but integrated with the shoulder missile launcher in Ultra Magnus, Windbreak portion is adapted to upside down. I rotate 180 degrees big movable arm during deformation.

Chest, which is designed like the armor plate of G1 Ultra Magnus wind, to become the portion corresponding to the front window in the car mode. For the head, and has followed roughly the design of RiD Ultra Magnus version, but the size is much smaller from constraints on deformation.

And firing missiles capable two, weapon parts that comes with winged backpack, Solas prime hammer.

In car mode and robot mode can be attached to the position of the four locations, and, (homage flavor of G1 Ultra Magnus) state plugged into the missile launcher of both shoulders, state that you gave to the holder next to the shoulder, missile, separate there is a holder of the position of the wing.

Design of the back pack, it is the design that is very similar to that of the BH version of Optimus Prime was released earlier, but this option equipped with removable. Wing is also possible to fold. In addition, can be attached to the RiD version Optimus Prime.

Solus Prime hammer, comes in the form of a quote from an item that appeared in anime this title, the hammer equipped with the feeling that is followed cyber Bath Commander of beginning TF prime, even in RiD Voyager class from the animated version of Ultra Magnus, was established. However, the impression is considerably smaller than the anime in one body molding. It is also possible to put a hammer to install on a backpack.

For the car mode, there is no major change from Optimus, but parts such as windscreen part of the roof and the front window around the shoulder part is housed is configured with new parts for Ultra Magnus. In addition, on both sides of the hood, joint of the same design as Arms Micron series AM-01 Optimus Prime Japanese version has been added.

Note that in such packages photo discharge Ento is marked on both sides in the car mode Optimus similar, are omit the product version. (Mounting holes are intact)

In the anime drama, Ultra Magnus is equipped with a blaster of the same design and Optimus. Photo borrowed from two body FE version Voyager class Optimus. In addition, the design is different to others, but because there is a scene that carry a large-caliber rifle in the anime, to borrow a weapon of RiD version feeling of size is similar.
