um, dinobot died before they became Transmetal, and was reborn only after Megatron was already in his Transmetal2 Ren Dragon form.

No he didn't, Dinobot died in Code Of Hero which was the 9th eisode of season 2.
Rattrap, Cheetor, Optimus Primal, Megatron and Tarantulas all got their new Transmetal forms in The Aftermath which was the first episode of season 2.
