BigBadToyStore Confirms MP-08 Grimlock

BigBadToyStore has confirmed our recent report on the Masterpiece MP-08 Grimlock figure. The store further confirms the release date and pricepoint:
    "Hi - we've just confirmed with sources in Japan that the MP-08 Grimlock will be arriving in March 09 - Japanese retail is 13,000 yen - we have them listed at $149.99."

I don't think we'll see a US release here. I could be wrong but I'm not holding my breath.

Yes and from what Hasbro told us about the upcoming year in Transformers, a US release of MP Grimlock wouldn't come out until at least 2010, if ever.

This is why you . lol A REAL Transformer fan has to be willing to pay HIGH prices for gems to display all over their room & never touch them. No but seriously, if you complain about EVERYTHING Has-Tak puts out, you ARE a Transformers fan. *guess im not one*

Agreed. People who refuse to import have no room to complain about all the cool imports they're missing out on. It's like people who buy game console X and then complain about exclusives for console Y.

BBTS $165 shipped Robotkingdom $150 shipped The proto pics are up and he does look worth it. Theres also an Optimus Mickey Mouse(!?!), I may just have to look into that.

You may be right, and what you say about the Seekers' alt modes makes a lot of sense. I can see Grim being the same height as Prime/Megs in robot mode, but big and bulky in dino mode. And really, that's all that counts. Who's seriously going to display him as a robot?
