Bold Forms' Lone Wolf Video Review of Not-Motormaster Testshot

Following up the photo gallery of the Motormaster-derived Lone Wolf figure, G1Hexatron has passed on a link to a video for the testshot. Showing roughly the same things as the photos, aspects like the transformation engineering will likely be better demonstrated in video, plus some insights from the designers are shared as well. Picked up CW Motormaster today so I'll be uploading some comparison pictures between Bold Forms LoneWolf (test shot) and CW Motormaster. Here's just one for today, I'll take more Friday. Bold Forms LoneWolf(test shot) vs CW Motormaster taken from my instagram.

Bold Forms? LoneWolf Update

Bold Forms recently sent me an image of the colored sample of the figure, but unfortunately I can't share it at this time per request. I can however tell you what I saw. It'll be it's base colors of black and silver that you've seen in my test shot photos and review, but also have silver, purple, red, and yellow paint from what I can see from the image. A lot of the little details in the mold have been painted to make the figure look like he stepped out of the G1 cartoon.

From what I've read on several Transformers forums and comments on my video a lot of people were happy with the figure, and some people liked the figure but were kinda on the fence. if you were an on the fence person I think seeing what the final version looks like will put you over the top. Sorry but that's all I can share at the moment. I will post the color image of the figure once Bold Forms gives me the ok.

*Please note that I do not work, get paid, or have been promised anything by Bold Forms.*

Video Review

ExVee 2015-02-18 @ 2:02 am

Fan G1Hexatron has received an early test shot copy of an upcoming product from Bold Forms which we reported on some months ago. Their Lone Wolf figure based on Motormaster, developed before Combiner Wars was revealed has since been reworked to be compatible with the official combiner toys. If some of the rougher elements of the design can be tweaked it may have appeal to some as an alternative to the official Motormaster figure, but it remains to be seen if its Combiner Wars interactivity will preserve its relevance. We've mirrored select photos, click through to have a look! Read the Full News Story Here

Can't wait to see the paint apps slapped on this fig. Proportionally, looks WAY better than Hasbro's effort. Now to do something about those massive clams! :doh

I must be honest, I think it looks good, why Couldn't Hasbro make something like this? I hope this figure is good quality as this is another no-name 3rd Party making a figure. :tfevil
