The Transformers Collectors' Club has revealed the attendee figure as Ricochet.
Due to the popularity of the Shattered Glass convention set, the set sold out
earlier this week with Ricochet coming free to all registered Primus package attendees that were unable to receive the Shattered Glass convention set.
Ricochet is a repaint of the Transformers: Cybertron Smokescreen, the same mold also used for the
Jazz figure in this year's exclusive set.
Take a look at the figure at
BotCon.com.
Thanks to "Haggisjin" for the help!

No, Ricochet is the Stealth Mirage of last year. Which was a far better one, in my mind. Firstly, Mirage is a much better mold than this, his colors made SOME sense, he was somewhat good-looking, and he wasn't a recolor of a figure most atendees are getting anyway. |

Supposedly there are four left we haven't seen: Classic Rodimus with mirror-Spock beard and Energon Megatron (I assume the smaller of the two versions of that mold) sold as a set, plus two additional bagged figure repaints - Armada Wheeljack and Blurr. |

Shouldn't there be one more attendee toy? Isn't this year's Richochet what Alpha Trion was last year? So shouldn't there be one more, since they offered the Springer toy last year? |

I chuckled at all the "I wouldn't pay for that!" and "I'm not buying *this* set" comments about the free toy in a sold out set. |

He had a retooled head - the same one Takara used on KISS Roddy. |

Did Alt Rodimus have a retooled head or was it all just recolor? |

There's a difference, Alt Roddy was made by Hasbro as promotional toy, the SDCC folks didn't have to produce him. |

Alt Rodimus was an SDCC exclusive, and sold at barely a markup. It can't be that bad. |

I have the feeling it's more #2. Also, I doubt they will be able to use any licensed vehicles - as the BotCon people would have to get their designs approved by the licensing departments of the various car/plane companies, which is probably a headache they'd like to avoid (especially as i... read more |
