This year’s project, a Shattered Glass Thunderclash, is intended to Power Link with last years effort, Shattered Glass Nightbeat, into the super warrior Nightclash. Talk about exclusives, the only way to get one of these is to build it with your own two hands.
Previous Projects included a Cybertron Scrapmetal altered into either a Universe Rumble or Inferno, and an Overkill made from Classics Grimlock.
Participants start with the factory kit, unpainted, still on the plastic trees. A bizarre array of tools meant for other purposes flowed through the busy hands of hard working fans. Hand cleanser used for sanding, leather punches used to insert pins, watch repair tools, all repurposed for the delicate art of toy assembly and modification.
