Fun Publications has announced that the Hall of Fame event at BotCon 2011 will include a sneak peek of scenes from Transformers Dark of the Moon. At the event, the fourth of the 2011 class of Hall of Fame inductees will be announced, along with two human inductees.
The human inductees have not been announced, but Fun Publications claims they are "well known."
The $45 event will be held on the night of Saturday June 4th at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, across the street from where BotCon is being held, the Pasadena Convention Center.
All guests will receive a goody bag with movie snacks at one of the two 3D CineMasks to view the Transformers Dark of the Moon preview.

The TFWiki has tweeted an image and link to a new trademark filing with the US Patent Office. The trademark? "HasCon" - which of course would be a useful name for a convention dedicated to all Hasbro products, not just Transformers. The trademark was filed just 6 days ago, right after BotCon, which also amounts to some interesting timing? What does it all mean, and does this mean that the CybertronCon name is no longer in consideration? No way to tell yet, but keep reading to see the details of the filing.
While at Botcon we naturally spent as much time as we could spare down at the Hasbro booth to see all the fantastic new and upcoming toys to look forward to. Besides snapping hundreds of photos of all the displays over the course of the weekend, we did a set of display case overview videos as well. The displays were split in two groups, one featuring Titans Return and Platinum, the other Robots in Disguise and licensed merchandise, with Combiner Wars crossing between both. We've split the videos accordingly, and you can watch both embedded below right now!
This week on Radio Free Cybertron: We all have the convention crud, except for Brian. Those of who can chat about the week's news, the toys we purchased, our favorite panels, our favorite memories and all the awesome people we got to meet at the LAST Botcon! Oh, we also talk about Masterpiece Shockwave, Masterpiece Ramjet, Computron, Liokaiser and tons more!
We were on hand for "BotCon Over The Years," the last panel of the last BotCon! Pete Sinclair led the presentation, reminiscing through his personal collection of BotCon photos and asking fans to share their own stories about the 22-year history of the social core of the Transformers fandom as it came to a close. Keep reading for details! UPDATED with some more details provided by longtime BotCon attendee Tim Finn!
The third annual BotCon panel featuring artist Hayato Sakamoto was held on Sunday, where he showed off some of his recent work along with notes on his artistic process and his approach to continuity in his work for Takara. Want to know why Legends Ultra Magnus came with a tiny Alpha Trion and why recent More Than Meets The Eye monster of the week Sunder looked like he did? Keep reading to see!
