BotCon 2011 - Limited Number of Hall of Fame Tickets Released to the Public

Fun Publications has announced that they are releasing a limited number of tickets for purchase by the general public to the BotCon 2011 Hall of Fame Event.

The event is taking place on the night of Saturday, June 4, 2011.

Tickets are $45 each and are available for purchase at the portable box office at the Pasadena Convention Center on Saturday, June 4th, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

The Hall of Fame Event will induct AUTOBOTS IRONHIDE and RATCHET, as well as evil DECEPTICON SOUNDWAVE, and the fan favorite as well as human inductees Steve Spielberg and Michael Bay, the latter appearing in person to provide sneak peek clips to Transformers Dark of the Moon.

Fair enough. I could see them doing this seperate from BotCon in the future, specially if say next years is in a different season that summer.

Entertainment Earth has just posted that in association with Hasbro, they'll be handing out free diorama backdrops based on either Transformers or My Little Pony with a purchase from the EE booth at SDCC next month. The Transformers backdrop is based on the Autobot Command Center from the original cartoon, and measures 9.5 x 11 inches, making it suitable for use with a wide range of toys.
