BotCon 2012 - Wheeljack Is 2012 Fans Choice for Transformers Hall of Fame; Shockwave to Appear in Prime Series

By John DeLuna on Saturday, April 28, 2012

Just in from the Transformers BotCon 2012 is news from the Hall of Fame event in Dallas, Texas. It should be no surprise really that Wheeljack has been voted by the fans into the 2012 Transformers Hall of Fame

We would like to congratulate Wheeljack on the distinction that is long overdue.

It was also announced that Shockwave will be in Transformers Prime.

At the end of his induction video during the Hall of Fame ceremony, a clip from the series was included where he was being introduced to the Autobots in the show (could this be the character David Kaye will be voicing in a "special" two-part arc?).

I'm good with Wheeljack, he did deserve a place in the Hall of Fame, as with many nominees.

Honestly.... Their is no way to prove the following: 1- If Hasbro/TFCC makes fans waste their time on the internet Voting for the Hall of fame. then Hasbro/TFCC turns around doesn't use any of the votes. and Hasbro/TFCC selects a Hall of Fame based off who they think should win. 2- In the no... read more

First is that, for the first time ever, the convention has official exclusives! There is also going to be a very limited print by G1 and ReGeneration One artist Andrew Wildman available at the show! Read on for more details!

This week on Radio Free Cybertron: We talk about the new Masterpiece Thundercracker figure coming from Takara Tomy, the Diaclone Reboot Masterpiece Toys, MakeToys Cyclonus upgrade kit, Dr Wu's NOT Mixmaster upgrade kit--er--figure, plus we sit down and chat with Colin Douglas, organizer of TFCon Charlotte about the upcoming convention.

Shockingly enough, all three of the Transformers exclusives on Hasbro Toy Shop which debuted at San Diego Comic Con this summer are still available to purchase as of this writing. While this batch isn't the first to see one piece stick around for a little while after activation, it's probably the first time the whole assortment has stayed accessible and obtainable even for those not riding their mobile devices at work hoping to beat store crashes. So what made this year different? Keep reading!
We wanted to give everyone the heads up. Hasbro revealed during the course of SDCC that their exclusives were planned to make their way on to HasbroToyShop on July 28th, which is tomorrow!
