Radio Free Cybertron's John DeLuna is bringing us another great look at the newest shipped piece from the third Transformers Figure Subscription Service, Classics G2 Starscream. This figure is the subject of a misassembly warning issued recently, the result being that the wings can't properly be folded without risk of breaking the toy, and no replacement will be made. This aside, the G2 look has been captured well, and this is supposedly the final outing from the Club for this mold. Click through to check out the photos!
This weekend at Roll Out Roll Call, Fun Publications had hand painted versions of next year's subscription figures Bludgeon and Impactor on display, showing them in their planned decos with at least early castings of their new head sculpts. Differences should of course be expected before the final versions. The Club also released a new mockup image of Ramjet, next year's membership incentive figure, explaining that instructions would be provided for the newly devised way of moving the head to accommodate the crest in vehicle mode. Keep reading and check out the mirrored images.
BotCon 2016 is early next year, which is probably why we're already getting previews of the boxset and figures for the con. The theme has been revealed as "Dawn of the Predacus," and the first figure revealed is a new version of Beast Wars-era Ravage based on the Combiner Wars Breakdown mold. The Club promises five all-new headsculpts and figures based on the Combiner Wars molds - fingers crossed to see if they can get uses of the Alpha Bravo mold into double digits! An e-mail has just gone out to Collector's Club members subscribed to the third figure subscription service detailing an issue discovered with G2 Starscream. A hinge piece has been installed incorrectly throughout the production run, leading to the toy not transforming normally. They warn that no exchanges for this defect will be possible based on limited inventory. Additionally they've noted that they are in the process of changing service providers, a move announced during their panel at Botcon. Read on for more details!
