Botcon 2013 Botcon 2013 -

The offical BotCon Twitter page have posted an image with name for tthe 4th seeker from the Transformers Timelines Issue 8 - Machine Wars: Termination comic book. Check out the image of the Red flyer below for the full look. Considering how fast the Rainmakers set sold out, it is highly likely we will be seeing more characters like this one that are modeled on the Classics / Henkei figure molds.

The convention has passed, but you check out the Transformers Club online store to find many BotCon souvenirs that are still available. At time of this posting they have the Boxed sets, a number of the Attendee exclusives as well as the Members exclusive Depthcharge, T-shirts and posters now online at toyarama.com

As promised, the folks at the Transformers Collectors Club would be providing some instructions on how to repair the misaligned chest part that was an issue with most of the Hoist toys in the Machines Wars Termination boxed set. Jesse Wittenrich has posted the instructions with images that will guide fans on how to resolve the issue with the gap in the chest. Note: this does not resolve the shoulder problem where the joint was installed backwards. Hopefully, that is still to be announced.

BoCon 2013 is over, but it will forever live on in our credit cards with all the mass quantities of Transformers toys to be had. The selection of figures, parts and accessories is quite humbling even for the most ardent collector. From Diaclone to the very latest Transformers Go! and Tokyo Toy Show exclusive MP-12T Tigertracks it can be seen in our 2013 Dealer Room image gallery with over 500 images.

The last day BotCon is here and there are still some more suprises to share. Just up is the Transformers SDCC Exclusives toys from the Hasbro display booth. Get a look at the Metroplex SDCC figure with two guns, extra paint apps, vac-metal parts on face and hips with 12 mini-figure decoys. Also shownis the G1 vinyl figures 5 pack and the Transformers Prime Shockwaves Laboratory images from the show now.

Every year BotCon hosts a fan art contest where everyone else gets to make their own art and customs for the Transformers Universe. There is more than meets the brush here with all kind of amazing and humorous ideas and concepts that are brought to life by you, the fans. Check out the image gallery of this year's offerings below for the full view of what was on display.

Just in is lots of new images from Robot Kingdom who displayed a prototype of PE-DX03 at Botcon 2013. It looks like a replacement for Cerebros on your Fort Max toy, and it is shaped like IDW Fort Max. Head seems to be a Headmaster too. Also shown was the new Planet X Swoop, Transformazing upgrade, X2 Toys UFO Optimus Prime asenal ring, Jet Powered Upgrade Kit, Uranos combiner, War Lords Beasticons and more.

IDW presented things to look for in the near future. Dark Cybertron, Robots in Disguise, More than Meets the Eyes, and how some will eventually link up with the Prime TV show. Some of ther highlights below.
