The Botcon website was updated this afternoon adding another artist to their seemingly ever-growing list. Just confirmed today was Ikumi Fukuda, though most comics readers might better know her by the name K0TTERI for the alternate covers she's been contributing over the last several months. Additionally, a Facebook update reports this year as having the most exhibitor booths ever for the convention between vendors and artists. They also recommend following on Twitter where they are seemingly once more simply @Botcon, with yesterday's change a mystery for the ages. Keep reading!
We are also pleased to welcome back Jon Hartman, who along with his brother Karl, founded BotCon back in 1994. Both Jon and Karl will be set up in the Exhibitor Hall with twelves tables of Transformers items, as they are finally selling off the remainder of their legendary collection.
What else? Artists! BotCon is once again host to the LARGEST Transformers Artist Alley in the world! You will not find a better place to meet and chat with all of the great talents who work on various Transformers projects, from the comics to the toy packaging. They will be on hand all weekend showcasing their art and/or taking commissions for original sketches.
All of this is addition to the amazing guests, seminars, panels and other weekend activities we have planned for BotCon 2015! To check out all of the events, guests, artists and schedule for BotCon 2015, visit us at BotCon.com.
If you have not yet registered for BotCon 2015, we will be opening Late Registration up at 9:30 am on Friday, June 19th. We want to see you all weekend, so make sure you get there early Friday to get your Primus package!
