eBay seller paranooid has posted an auction for the same figure and the auction description reads, "It is said to be a lucky draw exclusive in Japan in very limited number."

The auction does not specify who said this is a Lucky Draw, but we assume it is whoever passed on the figure to the seller.

The image available along with the auction does not reveal anything new about the figure.

So we are not exactly sure why this Transformers Classics Deluxe Bumblebee has been repainted blue, and neither does tfctoy, according to this most recent auction.

According to the auction description, tfctoy calls it an "unknown version Bumblebee," and it might be a Japanese "Lucky Draw,testshoot, prototype, etc."

The last time a Bumblebee was repainted blue, it was a BotCon 2002 exclusive named Glyph.
