Today on
their website, Transformers Collector's Club posted information about the soon to launch exclusive figure subscription, including pricing, order deadlines, and a possible shipping month for the first figure in the line
They explained the service may be paid in full up front or in three installments. The price of
$282 plus shipping if paid all at once is a little lower than the sum of
three installments of $94 plus shipping, but both options are provided so you can choose what works better for you.
While at the time of this writing, the preorders had not been opened, they explain that they are planned to end at midnight on September 10th, but in the meantime there will be no limits imposed, meaning you may order as many sets as you like (or can afford) and the final numbers will determine the production of the subscription sets. This means as well there is no risk of these selling out early, so don't feel pressured to get your order in the moment the form is opened up. However, you
must be a member of the club to purchase a figure subscription.
Currently there is no firm schedule for shipment of the first figure in this series. Currently they are projecting January 2013 pending the final production schedule being determined. As they stated at Botcon, some individual figures
may be available in the Club Store after subscriber sets have been shipped, but they warn that they will be at much higher prices and no availability is guaranteed!
As a reminder, the figures included in this set are Robots in Disguise Scourge, G1-colors "Classics" Breakdown, Animated Jackpot, movie-style Circuit, TF:Prime Slipstream, and Beast Wars Ultra Mammoth. You can see images of all of these figures from the TFCC Botcon panel in
our report, and production samples of three of these figures
revealed earlier this week.
Check out the Transformers Collector's Club website for all the details about the subscription figure service.
