Custom of the Week - Devastator V2 by frenzy rumble
Garage Mod - Tuesday, February 17, 2009

Transformers Garage is on the look out for the best custom / kitbash to feature each week here and in the Transformers Garage Hall of Fame section. This week's featured custom is the Devastator Version 2 by "frenzy_rumble." It is the second in the "Devastator series," which "seems to warp everything I now see into green and purple," he writes.

Like all of "frenzy_rumble"'s incredibly detailed customs, all pieces are done in 100% enamel paints.

Several improvements have also been performed on the second version of this green and purple giant, including connections are now more discreet in alternate modes, ratcheting shoulder joints, pivoting ankle and foot on Mixmaster, much better connection on Scrapper to knee, and better kibble on upper arms.

Grab a full view of this beauty in this Transformers Garage gallery.

A really outstanding job FrenzyRumble! It took me a few minutes to figure out who the Mixmaster character was made from! I don't want to even think about the effort you put into turning Barrage/Heatwave into Mixmaster, let alone the others! Incredible job all around!!

Once again, Twitter user @miiakira2017 has posted an image of their Transformers-related design work. Today, it's a classic car- the specific make, if any, eludes RAC - that would have turned into a laser pistol-wielding cowboy. Though there's a slight resemblance to 2010's Hunt for the Decepticons Scout-class Hubcap, the replies peg this as a Diaclone-era design, so well before that figure was designed and likely a coincidence. Keep reading to see!
