Custom of the Week: Fall of the Fallen Set by Unicron9

By Garage Mod on Tuesday, August 04, 2009

Transformers Garage is on the look out for the best custom / kitbash to feature each week here and in the Transformers Garage Hall of Fame section. This week's featured custom is not just an individual figure, but is the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Fall of the Fallen Custom Set by Unicron9.

Unicron9 loved the last scene so much, he has developed his own pieces for the figure.

The Optimus Prime is actually the Voyager version of the character, but he "used a chopped up SR-71 Blackbird model kit with magnets and Apoxie Sculpt to make this clip on armor set," he tells us.

We'll let Unicron9 tell you what he did with The Fallen, which has two faces.
The robo-skull which I tried to make look at least similar to the movie, and his original face. I watched the final scene many times over to get it as close to accurate as possible. I'm no sculptor though.
The Fallen also has a custom made spear based off paused screens of the film.

He also developed a custom trailer that holds all of these pieces for this set.

Despite all of this, both figures are still fully transformable with extra detailing on the vehicle modes too. The little disappearing hologram driver in Optimus is even painted.
