Cybertron Galaxy Force Optimus Prime Image Gallery

Released at the very end of the line, the confusingly named Galaxy Force Optimus Prime comes to us as a somewhat dark recdeco of the original red, silver and blue Prime motif. Many fans complained the figure lacked enough redecoration to make it a worth while re-issue. Those of us who love Optimus Prime see this as a welcome addition to the very enjoyable Cybertron line and our collections. Check out the pics of his robot modes in the image gallery.

I'm mixed on it. To me, the color scheme seems a bit flat. For someone that has the first issue OP, this seems like excess. Of course, with the black already started, how hard would it be to do a Nemesis Prime now?
I don't work well with paint or else I might be tempted to find out.

I didnt like the cybertron series that much so i never picked one up but i like Blitzwing's suggestion of them making a nemesis prime I'd get him.

I had mixed feelings too. Considering I bought the first one also. But, I might get it now that I've seen more pictures. But, before I do. I need to do some searching for an image of him connected with Wing Saber.

With the number of Optimus Prime toys produced, why the heck would a collector buy a bare-bones repaint of a $40 Prime? Worth picking up on clearance, though, as it's not really any better/worse than the original.
Except the face. The plain robot face lacks a silver faceplate. If that bothers you, get the old one.

I have the figure (still misb for now but anyway.) When you acually see the figure the color scheme is pretty original, even though prime's (lol) prime color scheme is red. THe only complaint i have is the upper part of his "face plate" in non super mode is uncolored. Other than that, nice recolor, and much more original than sonic convoy.
