The Transformers Trading Card Game is just one of the most recent tabletop strategy games Hasbro has developed through. One of the more exotic cames they created with the innovative Attacktix game in 2005. Originally focused on the Star Wars property, Attacktix mashed up trading cards, minuture toys, and group play into a game for two or more players. In the 2006 Hasbro introduced Transformers to the Attacktix line with characters from Cybertron, Generation 1 and Transformers Movie (2007) characters.
Today's Prime shot takes a look at the three different Attacktix figure molds that were released in the two Transformers series produced. introduced during the 2006 Transformers Cybertron series we got both the Galaxforce Super Robot and alternate Truck modes as game pieces for series 1. The following year in 2007 series 2 introduced a number of Generation 1 characters including Optimus Prime.
